Storyteller films produces projects for film, television and theatre. For feature films we have developed projects on Elizabeth Barrett & Roberty Browning, Thomas Paine, adaptation of Henry James’s The Ambassadors, Edythe Wharton’s “Custom of the Country”, a comedy “Kicks” for Diane Keaton, “Searching for the Green-Eyed Girl” a police thriller set in the world of trafficking in contemporary London and The Romantics, a time-travel comedy-drama of paralell lives in present day New York and the era of Keats and Shelley in the Romantic era London. For Television we are developing a tv series for cable with Emmy winning director, Scott Winant and Executive Producer Mike Newell, “Gramery Park” set in the Belle Epoque era of New York City as well as the cable mini-series, “Freedom” for director Mike Newell. On stage we have the play “Even” going into production for the 2012 season with director Jeremie Lippman in Paris, and with award winning director, Tamara Harvey, in London at The Bush Theatre. Another play, ‘A Tale of Charles Dickens” has been submitted to director, Jonathan Lynn and The Chichester Festival in England. We are developing films about the genocide in Sierra Leone in the 1980’s and an adaptation of Anne Marino’s novel, “The Collapsible World. Our board members include, John Stirling of Native Agency, Edinburgh, Jon Karas from Infinity Management in Los Angeles, Greg Miller, from Gregory R. Miller Publishing in New York City, Andy Fraser of Morgan Creek Filims and Susan K. Taylor, from Carat West Advertising. Storyteller Films was founded by screenwriter-producer, Janet Dulin Jones and John Stirling. Janet has written “A Map of the World” for Paramount and Kennedy Marshall, and “What if God Were the Sun” which garnered Gena Rowlands a Golden Globe, Emmy and SAG award nomination. She is working on projects in London, Paris and the U.S.
